Korn, Deftones, and Clutch have been added to the lineup for this year's Download festival, joining headliners Metallica who were officially confirmed after letting it slip via their website last week.
As previously rumoured, the revolutionary multi-million selling Korn and Sacramento rockers Deftones have all now been confirmed for the rock festival, which takes place at Donington in June. Sonic alchemists Clutch have also been added, although there are no stage or time details as yet.
Last week’s revelation that Metallica will be headlining Saturday’s main stage has left rock fans eagerly guessing the possible identity of the other two bill toppers.
Yesterday, Virtual Festivals was sent a screen a grab, supposedly from the Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ official website, saying they were set to headline the Donington festival. However, there is no way of authenticating this and the alleged info is no longer on the site.
Download 2006 takes place at Castle Donington, Leicestershire, over the weekend of 9-11 June. The Prodigy, Trivium, and Bullet For My Valentine are also confirmed for the three day festival. Click on the links below for more info.
