Klaxons rule out any UK festivals

Klaxons have declared a UK festival amnesty for 2008 and will be hitting the studio instead.

The band say their only scheduled festival appearance will be at a Brazilian event in October.

Instead they plan to focus on writing and recording the follow up to their Mercury Music Prize winning debut album 'Myths Of The Near Future'.

Jamie Reynolds told BBC 6Music: "We're not doing any festivals this summer, the only one we're playing is a Brazilian one in October.

"We're going to be in the studio from now until October."
