A strong performance from Cardiff band, Kids In Glass Houses, meant that in the NME stage it was girlfriends on shoulders time as the tent continued to be rammed to the rafters.
Lead singer Aled Phillips reminded the crowd, "we are Kids In Glass Houses and this is how it goes," before the crowd responded in riotous style to 'For Better or Hearse'.
The band who appeared for their fourth year had time to reminisce and took the crowd back to their Reading debut by powering through, 'Give Me What I Want' to the loudest scream of their set.
"I want to thank everybody in the tent from front to back. I want to see everybody bounce, I don't care if you're a six year old girl," demanded front man Aled Phillips before the crowd launched into the biggest dance off for 'Haunt the Haunted'.
Reading Festival 2010 continues with sets from Dizzee Rascal, The Libertines, Arcade Fire and many more.
