Organisers of Kendal Calling 2011, which is scheduled for 29-31 July at the Lowther Estate in Cumbria, have revealed plans for an extensive luxury camping area.
The festival, which previously announced headline sets by Chase & Status, Blondie and The Cribs, will offer tipi’s, yurty’s, pop-up hotel rooms and more in its new area, The Lodge.
Luxury packages are now available, including a weekend ticket to the festival, hire of a luxury camping option, access to the backstage Green Room Bar, a commemorative goody bag and a Kendal Calling t-shirt.
Standard tickets are selling quickly and festival organisers are urging fans not to miss out on the action, with more acts due to be announced in the next month.
Andy Smith, Kendal Calling director, said: “We’ve been slogging away hard over the dark winter months to put together a line up that will make Kendal Calling proud so it’s really awesome to see that people have responded so well to what has been announced so far.
“Compared to last year ticket sales are ahead by a phenomenal distance – hello and thank you to all those who have been before and those new comers who will be joining us in the fields this year!”
Weekend camping tickets are on sale now at £95, with luxury camping packages starting at £184.
