Kasabian are the set to headline the Sunday (12 June) night of Isle Of Wight Festival 2011, when the event returns to Seaclose Park, Newport from 10-12 June.
They join Kings Of Leon, who top the Friday (10 June) night, and Saturday’s (11 June) final act Foo Fighters on the line-up.
A recently reformed Pulp will also appear alongside The British Pink Floyd Show, who will make their first ever festival appearance at the event.
"I’m over the moon. For our tenth anniversary, I’ve got the cream of today’s bands, both American and UK," said organiser John Giddings about the announcement.
"Kasabian weren’t touring and I love Kasabian," he added, "they’re one of my favourite bands. I persuaded them to come and do an exclusive for us to launch their next album.”
