Indie-pop troupe I'm From Barcelona are among three new names to Roskilde's almost full line-up.
The expansive band, who could put put their own football team if they wanted, are to be joined in Denmark by California sensation Wavves and The Whitest Boy Alive who return to the festival after playing in 2007.
Roskilde's line-up is very nearly complete. A few spaces do remain unfilled however including a handful of Lounge and Pavilion Junior acts who are also looking forward to being announced in the near future. Stay posted with VF Europe.
The three are set to play alongside the likes of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Coldplay, Faith No More and Nine Inch Nails.
Oasis, Pet Shop Boys and Kanye West are also set to feature on the bill for legendary weekender alongside Trentemoller, 2 Many DJs, Slipknot and many more.
Roskilde Festival 2009 will take place at Roskilde, Denmark from 2-5 July.
Tickets are on sale now priced at £190 (plus booking fee).
In other Roskilde news, the festival's arty side is emerging for 2009 with the booking of the 'My First Record Label' and 'Give Blood To Artwork and get Eternal Life' projects.
The first will give punters the chance to unleash their creative genius on guitars made out of machine guns and other twisted metals. The latter will see punter's blood taken down to the bottom of the Pacific to secure the creation of a new Roskilde when the oceans have evaporated.
On a final note 'Get A Tent' tickets are almost sold out. If you fancy having your tent already pitched when you get there definitely take a look by clicking here.
