Organisers of Derbyshire's Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2011, which will take place at Catton Hall from 12-14 August, have added a new name to the line-up.
Norwegian musical mastermind Ihsahn is set to make his first UK festival appearance after 21 years in the industry.
The singer and guitarist found fame after fronting black metallers Emperor, before continuing a successful solo career.
He said: “I have strong musical bonds to the UK, both as fan and artist. I played my first UK show back in 1993 but this will be my first open-air appearance and I’m really looking forward to it.”
He joins Motorhead, Napalm Death, Immortal and Rhapsody of Fire on the billing for the three-day festival.
