In a strikingly generous move, Bilbao BBK Live has put one thousand £40 festival passes on sale for British punters.
The Spanish event, which sees the likes of Depeche Mode and Janes Addiction headline this year, is extending its arms out to the UK public after four prestigious years of existence.
Organisers of the Bilbao festival said: “We are delighted to run this promotion in the UK. We recognise UK festival goers are extremely passionate about music and we would like to welcome them to the festival and show them everything the city and the surroundings have to offer”.
The exclusive promotion will give festival goers the chance to snap up three day passes, including camping, for £42.50 (incl. booking fee), a snippet of the 100 odd pounds you would pay for the other events of its kind.
With Primal Scream, Placebo, Kaiser Chiefs and many more high calibre acts on a line-up that is yet to be completed, this is definitely a chance not to be missed.
Bilbao BBK Live 2009 takes place at Kobetamendi, 15 mins from Bilbao's cosmopolitan city centre, from 9 – 11 July
The town is accessible by ferry from Portsmouth while flights run to Bilbao Airport from London Heathrow and Stansted.
Ticket prices will be raised to €136 once the first 1000 passes have been sold so get in there like swim-wear.
