Guess the 2012 T in the Park Festival headliners to win VIP tickets!
This week we’re north of the big bad border, Hadrian’s Wall, for the largest party of the Scottish summer, T in the Park!
One of the biggest festivals of our summer, T in the Park has long been a paradise for music lovers and party fanatics to come together and revel in what will without fail be one of the strongest line ups of the year.
T in the Park 2011 featured, amongst hundreds of acts, Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Beyonce, Pulp, My Chemical Romance and Plan B.
Pretty strong huh? Well this week we’re looking for your predictions for 2012 as we give you an exclusive chance to guess the three headliners and win tickets to the festival next July!
We’re not looking for the days the headliners will play, just guess as many of the correct headlining acts as possible, and when the headliners are announced the person who has guessed the most correctly will win a pair of VIP tickets to that festival. If two or more people have guessed the same number of right acts then a winner will be drawn at random.
85,000 people can’t be wrong about TITP and its popularity can be attributed to a unique party atmosphere and also to the fact that it consistently boasts one of Europe’s most exciting line-ups with over 200 bands and artists playing across ten stages. The T in the Park line up consists of the finest unsigned talent to world-wide stars. T in the Park is widely considered the artists’ favourite festival, with The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Swedish House Mafia, The View, and Chase & Status among its biggest fans, and the public certainly agree.
T in the Park has also won multiple awards as both Best Major Festival and Festival of the Year including two UK Festival Award gongs in 2005 + 2006, Channel 4 Live Music Awards in 2008 and this year’s 2011 Music Week Awards.
Over the next five weeks we’ll be running headliner south-west-four-sw4-2009 for the biggest dates in the UK festival calendar, including Bestival, Latitude, Creamfields, and The Big Chill.
From its beginnings at Strathclyde Country Park in 1994, T in the Park has grown in size and influence to become one of the most important and critically acclaimed music events on the UK and European festival scenes, and is firmly established as Scotland’s most popular weekend out. The festival is now situated in the lush Scottish countryside of Balado, near Kinross.
