Grace Jones has been confirmed as the special guest headliner for this year's Beachdown Festival.
The 'Nightclubbing' star is set to hit the main stage on the Sussex Downs this August alongside the previously announced Super Furry Animals, The Zutons, Saint Etienne, Grandmaster Flash. James Hunter has also been added to the event today.
Organisers are quickly creating one of the most exciting line-ups that has been seen on the circuit for several years with The Apples, Lack Of Afro and Acid House Brass Band all set for the three-day event.

Beachdown Festival 2009 will take place at Devil's Dyke, Brighton in East Sussex from 28-31 August.
Early Bird tickets are already on sale for the price of £85. These come with one free child ticket (3-12 years old) per adult ticket purchased and the choice of a complimentary deck chair, two t-Shirts or drinks tokens that can be redeemed in any of the bars on site – all of which are worth £30.
In addition to the above there are also 500 reduced rate child tickets on sale for the cut price of £45. All children under the age of 2 get in for free.
Festival chiefs are encouraging DJs to play sets out of their comfort zones at the event, which should make it extra special for those in attendance.
