Goldheart Assembly open up at Reading

A smallish crowd were gently woken by the folk stylings of Goldheart Assembly in Reading's NME tent on Sunday morning.

Shared vocals between Jake Bowser and James Dale ensured that 'So Long, St Christopher' was warmly received, with the close shared harmonies proving a highlight throughout.

It was however, the rousing version of 'King Of Rome' which blew away any Sunday morning cobwebs as a gracious, "thank you very much, see ya," from lead singer, James Dale completed the first set of the day.

Reading Festival 2010 continues with sets from Blink 182, Klaxons, Roots Manuva and many more.
