GLASTONBURY the play, directed by Keith Allen and designed by Damien Hirst, scheduled to visit Manchester from Wednesday 23 to Saturday 26 October, has been postponed due to Council Licensing difficulties.
[r-zone2]The production will no longer be staged in the marquee at Whitworth Park. The producers, Best Behaviour Productions Ltd, still plan to tour the production to Manchester and will be announcing a new venue for later in November, in due course.
[l-zone1]The official statement says, “The company apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience caused to those who have already booked to see the show this week in Manchester. All tickets will be valid for the forthcoming performances in November. Due to the postponement of Manchester¹s performances, GLASTONBURY will remain in Cardiff at Pontcanna Fields for a second week, with performances from Wednesday 23 Saturday 26 October (Wed Sat eves: doors open 7pm, show starts 8pm, mats: 2pm).”
