Tickets for this year's Glastonbury Festival, which will take place over 27-29 June, are set to go on sale on Sunday 6 April.
Organisers will be using the same registration system that won the Best Innovation Award at the UK Festival Awards in 2007, so applicants will must register a photo and submit their details during February.
On 6 April applicants must provide a unique registration number that corresponds with their photo as tickets will have the registrant’s picture on to be checked on arrival at the site.
Acts rumoured to be playing this year's festival include Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Blur, Kylie Minogue and The Verve.
