Glastonbury deny Fleetwood Mac rumours

Glastonbury Festival organisers have this morning (Friday) quashed speculation that Fleetwood Mac are set to headline the event in 2010.

Rumours had been circulating that the group were due to top the bill on the Sunday night of the festival but, according to, a Glastonbury spokesperson has said that it is “unlikely”.

However the festival didn’t say if the group would be appearing elsewhere at the event’s 40th anniversary.

U2 have been confirmed as headliners for next year’s event with Muse strongly rumoured to be joining them.

Glastonbury Festival 2010 will take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset from 23-27 June.
