Organisers of Somerset's Glastonbury Festival 2011, held from 22-26 June at Worthy Farm, have revealed this year's theatre and circus headliners.
No Fit State Circus, the UK’s number one touring circus, bring their new politically-charged show ‘Barricade’ to a line-up that includes Village Disco, fire-dancer Jay Toor and an aerial show by Insect Circus.
Comedy highlights include performances by Dirty Fred, strip-tease act Naked Lunch and 4 Poofs and a Piano, house band of Friday Night with Jonathon Ross.
Details of The Common’s venues have also been released, including Campo Pequeno, a ‘towering bullring like no other’, a daredevil motorcycle show inside the Wall of Death and former Havanan cinema, The Lost Picture Show.
Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2011 sold out within hours of their release, but a limited number are set to go on resale on Sunday (17 April).
