Glastonbury Festival will return after its year off as the biggest and best festival ever staged, next year - according to organiser Michael Eavis. And all the line-up rumours are true, apparently!
[r-zone1]Speaking to Uncut magazine, Eavis revealed: "What I can announce now is that I'm adding an extra 100 acres next year so it will be the biggest festival ever. I'm renting the additional land from a neighbour so there's more space and major improvements to the campsite. So it's not just going to be bigger, but better.
"We're going to be presenting the best line-up anywhere in the world. Glastonbury 2007 will be, literally, the greatest show on Earth."
The festival is scheduled to take place on 23-26 June next year. Although the line-up will not be officially announced until much nearer the time, strong rumours doing the rounds include The Killers, Kylie Minogue and Bruce Springsteen as Pyramid Stage headliners with Scissor Sisters also hotly tipped.
Teasingly, Eavis added: "All I can tell you at this stage is whatever rumours you've heard, they're probably all true."
Tickets are expected to go on-sale next April. For more info, check out the links below.
