Gaymer's Camden Crawl 2011 opened today (Saturday) in glorious sunshine, keeping the Royal Wedding street party spirit alive with some great new music, British pride and a lot of cider.
The Union Jacks were still fluttering, but 24 hours after Will and Kate’s big day, Camden was all about rock n’ roll with some great performances from Frankie & the Heartstrings, Miles Kane and Killing Joke.
The town was packed for the first of two days showcasing the best new music, topped by a bill of some of the leading acts around.
Camden Crawl continues tomorrow with sets from the much talked about rappers OFWGKTA as well as The Lemonheads and Graham Coxon.
