Fresh from the news that Gallows' frontman Frank Carter will be going his own way, the London hardcore band play an epic afternoon set in the grounds of Knebworth House.
Coming hours after Singer Frank Carter announced parting of ways with the band he has fronted for six years, Carter announced from the stage the split was entirely amicable, saying, “So we can all continue to give you the best music.”
Gallows made sure Sonisphere 2011 was going to give them a massive send off though, Carter demanding from the crowd at the end of their set that they give him, “the biggest circle pit all weekend. If someone gets in the way, run them over!“
At that, hundreds of Gallows fans formed a circle pit around the sound desk in the middle of the Saturn field; one of the most incredulous and ridiculous sights to behold so far at Sonisphere.
Biffy Clyro headline the Saturday night at Sonisphere 2011 and Slipknot will close the festival tomorrow night. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up-to-date with everything coming live from the festival.
