Roskilde Festival 2010 takes place at Roskilde, Denmark from 1-4 July with four days of warm-up from 27 June.

The event is often dubbed the Scandinavian equivalent of Glastonbury and it is famed for its extension beyond the music, despite boasting more than 150 live acts.

Festival-goers are able to enjoy a wide spectrum of activities and alternative entertainment ranging from wall climbing, skating and cinema to more arty pursuits such as book readings and poetry slams.

Around 75,000 revellers attend annually with the festival a strong supporter of humanitarian causes.
