Anvil and Orange Goblin are the first acts confirmed for the Bloodstock Open Air 2012 line-up.
The Bloodstock Open Air 2012 dates have been confirmed as 9-12 August with the Derbyshire festival set to return to Catton Hall.
Canadian rockers Anvil will play on the Ronnie James Dio Stage on Friday (10 August) where they will showcase their new album ‘Juggernaut of Justice’.
Home-grown Orange Goblin will follow them on the Saturday (11 August) night, playing the Sophie Lancaster Stage during the three-day metal and rock bash.
Early bird Bloodstock Open Air 2012 tickets are on sale now priced at £95 (including booking fee) for the weekend, plus camping.
Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2012 tickets will remain at this price until Christmas 2011, when they will increase.

Bloodstock car parking tickets are also available with day tickets, VIP tickets, campervan tickets, child tickets and Rock Society tickets to go on sale at a later date.
W.A.S.P, Immortal and Motorhead headlined Bloodstock Open Air 2011 while other acts included Steve Hughes, Lawnmower Deth, Morbid Angel, Rhapsody of Fire, Devin Townsend Project, Kreator and more.
