The countdown to Download 2005 is now in its final stages, with fans, bands, and organisers all chewing at the bit for the rock to kick off at Donington ... and the weather's looking good!

This year’s event is looking like it could be the best so far with three days of great music from the likes of Black Sabbath, Slayer, Garbage, System Of A Down, Feeder, Velvet Revolver and 100 more!

The weather forecast is looking good, with no rain predicted. However, it’s expected to be a bit overcast on Friday, with highs of 19 degress, before the temperature drops slightly on Saturday and Sunday to around 16 degrees.

Although the sun should be breaking through the clouds throughout the weekend, it’s still going to be fairly cold at night so bring plenty of warm clothes.

If you’re going to Download this weekend, check Virtual Festivals next week and tell us how it was for you by taking part in our Download survey.

And remember, if you’re not going, keep checking back here for full coverage of every stage, with photos and band reviews as they happen.

Download 2005 takes place this weekend at Donington Park, Leicestershire, from 10-12 June. Click here for more.
