Future Music Festival returns for 2012 with five dates around Australia.
Swedish House Mafia, Tinie Tempah, Fatboy Slim, Paul van Dyk, Jessie J, Skrillex and The Wombats are among the acts confirmed to play so far.
The festival calls at the following places:
Saturday 3 March – Brisbane, Doomben Racecourse
Sunday 4 March – Perth, Arena Joondalup
Saturday 10 March – Sydney, Royal Randwick Racecourse
Sunday 11 March – Melbourne, Flemington Racecourse
Monday 12 March – Adelaide, Ellis Park
Aphex Twin will play his first Australian live shows since 2004 on the tour, while Adelaide’s own The Naked And Famous are also on the bill.
Other confirmed performers include The Rapture, Chase & Status, Sven Vath, Die Antwoord, Hercules & Love Affair, Azari & III, Alex Metric and Holy Ghost!.
Gareth Emery and Frank Ocean will also play, while LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and DFA Records cohort Pat Mahony will host a Nu House/Disco show, Special Disco Version.
Other acts are expected to be added to the Future Music Festival 2012 line-up in the coming months.
Early Bird tickets are on sale now, priced at AUS $140.85 (Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide), AUS $141.20 (Perth) and AUS $155.85 (Sydney), with VIP options also available.
