Shunning the overbearing ‘stop having fun’ health and safety regulations, Enter Shikari instigate a riot. Making it onto the Main Stage again, after years of hard toll playing intense tent shows, the band prove they’re worth every inch of their new stage set, making full use of it, in front of an energetic and respectably large crowd.

It was hard to decide who enjoyed the set more the band or the fans. Bouncing and climbing around the stage Rou looked like a child who hadn’t taken his ritilin. Preaching sermons about consumerism and corporate greed over roaring electro and wailing guitar. The energy was impressive if it dissipates alittle traveling out over the crowd; caged under a tent this mixture proves a lot more explosive.

But they drew such a crowd to warrant the stage. High points were ‘Sorry You’re Not A Winner‘ dedicated to the anorak old school fans and ‘Invincible‘ where Rou started a mass crowd surf by telling the crowd not to with a cheeky wink. The band bring a big noise on an otherwise qiueter day at reading.
