Michael Eavis has dropped some massive hints concerning who's headlining this year's Glastonbury Festival.
In an exclusive interview with Virtual Festivals, the Glastonbury Festival boss has given his biggest hint yet that Saturday night's headliner will be Jay Z.
Having previously revealed the festival's most prestigious slot will go to a "black rapper from New York", Michael dropped a massive clue pointing to the hip-hop legend.
He told us: "He’s a well respected rap star, who the kids love to bits, and he’s going to have some really famous people with him as well."
Famous people like Beyonce, Nas, Chris Martin, The Roots or Jill Scott perhaps? All people who have collaborated with Jay Z at recent shows.
Other rumoured acts for the Saturday headline slot, such as Kanye West or Timbaland, would not necessarily be associated with a celebrity entourage. The chances of it being Jay Z now look almost certain.
Michael added: “It’s going to be a good show. I’m sure its going to be a mega attraction and the fact we’re doing something new shows we’re not afraid to change things in order to be bold and to be full of ambition. I’ve been doing that for 38 years now.
"We’re not afraid of sticking our necks out. I don’t want to get into grooves we can’t get out of, so the main headline slot is going to be interesting.”
