Early Bird Kendal Calling 2012 tickets have sold out.
Organisers say the “Christmas Present” tickets, which will come gift wrapped along with a Christmas card designed by British Sea Power’s Matthew Wood, sold out in just six hours.
General Sale tickets will go on sale in early 2012, priced at £99, with child tickets costing £50 each.
Kendal Calling 2012 will take place at Lowther Deer Park, in the Lake District, on 27–29 July.
No acts have yet been confirmed for next year’s festival, but this year saw The Cribs, Blondie and Chase & Status headline, while Frank Turner, House Of Pain, The Levellers, Echo & The Bunnymen, Nero, Maverick Sabre, Young Knives, The Whip and Beardyman were among the other performers at the event.
VF’s Phil Brady hailed this year’s festival as “the best yet…an absolute success”, giving it an 8/10 review back in July.
Tickets for Kendal Calling 2011 sold out in record time, winning Best Festival in the Under 15,000 category at the Live UK Business Awards last month, beating the likes of Wakestock, Kick Out The Jams, End Of The Road, Cambridge Folk Festival, Beautiful Days and Belladrum to the award.
