Crystal Castles and more for Hydro Connect

Crystal Castles and Santogold are among the slew of breaking acts set for Scotland's Hydro Connect Festival.

They will both appear in the Unknown Pleasures tent over the weekend alongside the previously announced Dave Clarke, The Roots and Beardyman.

Manchester electro outfit The Whip have also been confirmed for the festival, playing the Oyster Stage on the Friday (28 August), while Friendly Fires will take to the Guitars And Other Machines arena on the Saturday (29 August).

Hydro Connect 2008 will take place at Inveraray Castle, Western Scotland from 29-31 August with Kasabian, Bloc Party and Franz Ferdinand confirmed as headliners.

Manic Street Preachers, Sigur Ros, Grinderman, Elbow, Duffy and The Breeders are also set to perform over the weekend. Click HERE for the latest line-up.

Organisers have also announced the selection of bespoke camping options available to ticket holders ranging from Tipis and Podpads to yurts and MyHabs.
