In the face of the ongoing economical crisis Creamfields organisers have announced that they will be dropping their ticket price.
The festival has teamed up with Mixmag to offer the first 5000 for just £100 with day tickets frozen at 2008 prices and hospitality passes reduced by up to £25.
Speaking about reducing the ticket price, Creamfields CEO James Barton said: "We’re in the midst of a recession with most people having to tighten their belts, so we’ve made the first 5000 tickets as cheap as we possibly can.
"I hope this goes a little way to easing the cash burden for the people who have been there for us through thick and thin. On a first come first serve basis, it will be our most dedicated fans who will benefit."
Tickets will go on general sale on Friday (3 April) but Mixmag readers can pre-order passes from today (30 March).
