Conor Oberst and the Magic Valley Band are set to appear at this year's Hydro Connect Festival.

The boutique event takes place at Inveraray Castle, Loch Fyne, Argyll in Western Scotland from 29-30 August.

The Bright Eyes singer will be joined by human beatboxer Beardyman, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Howling Bells, The Gutter Twins, Foy Vance and Asobi Seksu.

Other names already on the bill include Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, Manic Street Preachers and Nick Cave's latest project Grinderman. Click HERE for the latest line-up.

Accompanying today's additions is the posh nosh available from the Circuses and Bread Field. The festival will have fresh seafood from the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, organic vegetable dishes from the isles of Arran, succulent Lamb Burgers from the fields of Ifferdale Glen and home made venison pie from Winston.  

There will also be locally brewed Fyne Ale available as well as a selection of more than 50 different whiskies in the Whisky Bar.
