Chris Cunningham, the music video director who has worked with Aphex Twin and Bjork, is set to play a very rare 55-minute live performance at this year's Big Chill.
The AV maestro will combine original and remixed music and brand new music videos over three screens while being joined by Hexstatic, who will play a special 15th anniversary performance.
Speaking about the additions Katrina Larkin, co-founder of The Big Chill said: “Chris Cunningham Live is a significant coup for the festival; the eclecticism on offer this year is set to add yet another element of diversity and excitement to The Big Chill.”
Organisers have also managed to secure the services of Sixto Rodriguez, who will only play a handful of gigs worldwide this year.
Other names added today include reggae legend Max Romeo, Mulatu And Heliocentrics, Getatchew Merkuria and punk band The Ex.
Noah And The Whale, Andrew Bird and Emmy The Great have also been confirmed for the boutique bash joining the likes of Basement Jaxx, Orbital, Alice Russell and many more.
The Big Chill 2009 will take place at Eastnor Castle, Herefordshire from 7-9 August.
Tickets are on sale now priced at £145 (plus booking fee) for an adult weekend camping pass. More prices are available.
