Playing her first concert in London for almost three decades, Carole King will headline British Summer Time Hyde Park on Sunday July 3rd 2016.

Four time Grammy award winner and member of both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Carole King will perform her legendary breakthrough album ‘Tapestry’ in full, plus a selection of her greatest hits.

The 74-year-old will be joined on the bill by founding member of the Eagles Don Henley and daughter Louise Goffin

Expect a set jam packed with hits, everything from ‘I Feel the Earth Move’ to ‘So Far Away’, ‘Up on the Roof’ to her iconic cover of Aretha’s ‘(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman’.

Carole King said in a statement: “I want to begin by thanking Londoners for making Beautiful: The Carole King Musical so successful. And now I’m coming to London and can’t wait to perform Tapestry from beginning to end for the first time ever! How perfect to be doing that in the heart of one of my favourite cities.

“I know I’m not alone in considering Don Henley one of the greatest songwriters of our time. I’m looking forward to hearing classic Eagles songs and other hits from Don and his band. And, as a lifelong fan of Louise Goffin I can only say that there’s nowhere else I’d rather be on 3 July 2016 than Hyde Park in the great city of London.
