Carcass and Arch Enemy have been confirmed as co-headliners for this year's Bloodstock Open Air.
Both bands will top the bill on the Friday (14 August) of the festival alongside Katatonia, Million Dollar Reload, Municipal Waste and Sabaton.
Candlemass, Battlelore, Saxon, Amon Amath, Gwar, The Haunted and many more are set to play the independent rock and metal event.
Bloodstock Open Air 2009 will take place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire from 14-16 August.
The event, which celebrates its fifth birthday this year, is expecting 7,500 festival-goers to attend. The festival boasts two stages of live music, a market, bars, camping, metal DJs, a signing tents as well as the now infamous metal karaoke.
Tickets are already on sale priced at £99.95 for an adult weekend camping ticket. Other prices and passes are available.
