Camden Crawl to go ahead as planned

Organisers say that the Camden Crawl is set to go ahead as planned despite fires that destroying much of Camden Market last Saturday (9 February).

Although nobody was injured during the blaze, the extensive fire damage to Camden Crawl venue, The Hawley Arms, has meant that the pub will not be used at the three-day event.

A spokesperson for the event said: "The Hawley [Arms] was due to host various live events and parties, but will now unfortunately not be included within the festivals.

"No other venues have been affected by the fire and the Camden Crawl will go ahead as planned on 18th and 19th April," before adding: "We are currently looking into ways that the festival will be able to help those affected by the fire."

Cold War Kids, Lightspeed Champion, Vampire Weekend and Battles are all rumoured to be performing at the festival this year.
