Bruce Springsteen has confirmed that he'll play two large stadium shows in the UK as part of his European tour in 2012.
He willll headline the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on 21 June and Ethiad Stadium in Manchester on 22 June.
Support acts for both shows are expected to be confirmed at a later date.
Performing with the E-Street Band, the man known as The Boss will also play the Isle of Wight Festival 2012 as well as Hard Rock Calling 2012.
Further European dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks as Springsteen tours to support his new album, which at the moment is untitled.
Hard Rock Calling 2012 will return to Hyde Park in London from 13-15 July, having moved dates from the end of June, while the Isle of Wight Festival 2012 will take place at Seaclose Park in Newport on the Isle of Wight having changed dates to 22-24 June.
