Bon Jovi have been unveiled as the Saturday (25 June) night headliner for the Hard Rock Calling 2011 line-up, with the music festival to return to Hyde Park, London from 24-26 June.
The American group, who have sold 120 million albums worldwide and performed more than 2,600 concerts, will make their first appearance at the event.
“2011 marks Hard Rock’s 40th anniversary and there is no better way to celebrate than with Bon Jovi at Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park,” said Hamish Dodds, president and CEO, Hard Rock International. “Not only has Bon Jovi been one of the world’s most successful and beloved bands, but they have also been a friend of the Hard Rock brand for many years.”
Hard Rock Calling tickets are set to go on sale at 9am on Monday 1 November. They will be priced at £59 (plus booking fee).
A ticket link will appear on Virtual Festivals when they become available.
No other acts have been announced yet, but more are expected in the coming weeks.
