Icelandic superstar Bjork is set to bring a special performance including tracks from forthcoming album 'Biophilia' to Iceland Airwaves 2011.
The musician will play six special shows in her hometown of Reykjavik, including two performances at Iceland Airwaves Festival on Wednesday 12 October and Sunday 16 October.
The shows will see performances of new and old songs and feature a range of specially crafted instruments including a 30-foot pendulum that harnesses gravity to create musical patterns.
The festival, which runs from 12-16 October in Reykjavik, will also see performances from The Vaccines and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.
Tickets are still on sale, priced at 16,500 KR (£88).
As well as performing at Iceland Airwaves, Bjork will perform at the Reykjavik Concert Hall on Wednesday 19, Saturday 22, Tuesday 25 and Friday 28 October.
