The Proclaimers are set to headline this year's Big Session Festival on the back of their successful 2009 U.S. tour and release of their latest album 'Notes & Rhymes'.
Darling of English folk and Mercury Music Prize nominee Kate Rusby will also top the bill alongside festival hosts Oysterband.
Other acts confirmed today (Tuesday) include Glastonbury veterans Stornoway, Irish favourites Dervish, Jackie Oates and Miles Hunt And Erica Nockalls.
Damien O’Kane, Megson and winner of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards’ Best Album 2009 and Singer of the Year Chris Woods are also booked to appear.
Early bird tickets are on sale now costing £62.50, while kids (6-15 years) tickets are priced at £27.50 and under 5’s admitted free. Early bird ticket prices are set to increase on Sunday 28 February.

Big Session Festival 2010 is set to take place De Montfort Hall in Leicester from 18-20 June.
