Tickets for Beautiful Days 2012 will go on sale next Monday (3 October).
The festival, organised by The Levellers, will make tickets for next year’s event available to members of the band’s fan club ‘On The Fiddle’ on Monday.
Tickets will then go on general sale from Friday 14 October.
Beautiful Days 2012, which celebrates its tenth anniversary next year, will run from Friday 17 – Sunday 19 August 2012, with gates opening at 2pm on Thursday 16 August, at Escot Park, Devon.
Adult Weekend Tickets will be priced at £120, with childrens’ tickets costing £60 (10-15), £30 (5-9) and £5 (Under 5) respectively.
‘On The Fiddle’ members will receive a £10 discount on tickets until 31 December 2011.
Organisers have revealed that the site will gain a new venue among many improvements for next year, while capacity will not increase from that of this year’s festival.
They are also asking for suggestions from festivalgoers as to who they would like to see perform at next year’s event, while confirming that they are “already in talks with bands.”
Currently no acts have been confirmed for the 2012 Beautiful Days line up. The likes of Big Audio Dynamite, Flogging Molly, Tim Minchin, Gogol Bordello and The Low Anthem played this year, earning Beautiful Days 2011 a 8/10 review from VF’s Jon Wright.
Fans are also invited to bid on eBay for a piece of artwork signed by many of this year’s festival’s acts, including all the members of the Levellers, to raise money for the family band friend and musician Gary DS, who was killed in a car crash in Jamaica along with other members of his family.
