Beady Eye are among a host of new names confirmed to play Germany's Melt! Festival 2011 today (15 March).
Liam Gallagher’s new band will be joined by the likes of Crystal Castles, The Drums, Plan B, Swans, Iron & Wine, Foster The People and Dananananakroyd at the event.
DJ Koze, Planningtorock, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes, FM Belfast and Le Tigre spin-off MEN will also be appearing at the festival.
Modeselektor’s Melt!Selektor Stage has also added new acts, with Nicolas Jaar, Apparat Band, Jamie Woon, Rusko, Siriusmo, Anstam, Cosmin TRG, Phon.o and Benjamin Damage & Doc Daneeka all on board.
Modeselektor will also team up with Marcel Dettmann and Shed to form techno supergroup A.T.O.L. during the festivities.
Melt! Festival 2011 takes place in Ferropolis, Germany from 15-17 July.
Three-day tickets are on sale now, priced at 104EUR.
Organisers say half of the available tickets have already been sold. There will be no day or two-day tickets for Melt! 2011.
Pulp, The Streets and Virtual Festivals’ Ones To Watch Artists Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Everything Everything and Katy B are some of the artists previously announced for the festival.
