Extreme metallers At The Gates are set to play their only UK show of 2011 at Bloodstock Open Air, which runs from 12-14 August at Catton Hall in Derbyshire.
They join headliners Immortal, plus Morbid Angel, Therion and a host of other bands to make Bloodstock 2011 an essential date in the metal calendar.
Taking the aggression of death metal and lacing it with melody, At The Gates' 1995 album 'Slaughter of the Soul' was released to critical acclaim, including a Swedish Grammy nomination.
The group disbanded in 1996 but reformed 12 years later. Drummer Adrian Erlandsson said: "We had such a blast during the 2008 reunion that we decided to do some more shows.”
Early bird tickets are on sale at the price of £90 until 15 December.
