Arts additions to Latitude Festival 2011

Comedy, film, literary and arts figures added to Suffolk festival line up.

Gavin Osborn, Shappi Khorsandi, Gail Porter, Rt Hon David Davis MP, and Camille O’Sullivan featured in the announcement for the many varied arts stages across the site. 

BAFTA will present The Misfits on the Film & Music Arena, which will also stage Ryoji Ikeda, Rocco Deluca and Noise Of Art’s Attack The Block-Party.

Instigate Debate will feature under the Literary Arena over the weekend with panel members including Liz Jones, Jon Cruddas MP, Peter Tatchell and Gail Porter.

Holly Walsh, Abandoman and Iranian-born stand up Shappi Khorsandi appear in the Comedy Tent alongside the previously announced Alan Carr and a live show of BBC2 music quiz panel-show Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

The late night DJ’s who have previously inhabited the nocturnal slot in the Comedy Tent will this year include Blow Up, Guilty Pleasures and Horse Meat Disco Vs Pump Up The Volume.

The National, Paolo Nutini and Suede are set to headline this year’s event, which takes place at Henham Park Estate, Southwold, Suffolk on 14 – 17 July.
