Alternative Stage announced for Reading, Leeds

Acts for the Alternative Stage for Reading and Leeds Festivals have been unveiled.

As always there will be a mix of comedy, performance art, cabaret, film and plenty to keep you dancing after the main stages have closed for the night.

Beardyman and Eddie Argos are among the names set to appear with comedians Emo Philips, Jason Byrne, Stephen K Amos, Kevin Bridges, Russell Kane and Rufus Hound set to headline.

??Wariko and Afrikanboy will play live in between the rib-ticklers before the likes of Smash N Grab, Swap-A-Rama, Rebel Bingo, DJ Goldierocks and Transgressive Records will all host nights to round off the festival.

Guns n’ Roses, Arcade Fire and Blink 182 will headline the festivals this year with support from Weezer, the return of The Libertines, Queens Of The Stone Age, Dizzee Rascal and many more.

The BBC Introducing Stage line-up will be announced in the coming weeks.

We’ve teamed up with luxury camping company Tangerine Fields to offer you a 10% discount off their facilities at Reading and Leeds Festivals.
