Alkaline Trio Provide the Perfect Alternative to Guns n’ Roses

Playing to a packed out lock-up tent, Matt Skiba and company blasted straight into 'Armageddon' which would be the song that would sum up the night.

Alkaline Trio showed they are more than capable of headlining the Lock-Up tent after sub-headlining a few years back and who can argue with belters such as ‘Mercy Me’, ‘Private Eye’ and closing with ‘Radio’.

No one was left wanting for Axl and co., they just wanted more of the Trio. Possibly the best act of the day?

Reading Festival 2010 continues with sets from Arcade Fire and The Libertines.
