2000trees festival 2012 tickets are set to go on sale on 1 February with the music festival to return to Upcote Farm, near Cheltenham from 13-14 July.

Speaking about the festival, founder James Scarlett said: “Music fans love the intimacy and friendliness of small, independent festivals, as well as great value for money and everything being in easy walking distance.

“We have spent the winter planning to make 2012 our best year yet and we’ve got some very exciting news on the horizon, so we’re really looking forward to the summer.”

No acts have been confirmed for the 2000trees festival line-up, but are expected to be announced in the coming months.

Those to appear on the 2000trees festival line-up in the past include Frank Turner, Dan le Sac v Scroobius Pip, Bombay Bicycle Club, Los Campesinos!, Pulled Apart By Horses, Tribes, Frightened Rabbit and The Subways.

Around 5,000 music lovers are expected for a weekend of the country’s finest indie, acoustic, folk, hardcore and post-rock plus a sprinkle of other genres and smattering of musical surprises.
