But i have another pair of the questions:
Can i bring with me some botles of vodka and some food?
What about weeds and mushrooms?
I don't like drugs but friends...
Sorry, for stupied questions - it's very hard to read topics with slang and bad words. In russian schools we learn correct language
By the way you do want I will show vapor of photographs from the Russian rock festival, which does go on three days?

weed is illegal in the uk and if found at a search at a gate it will be confiscated (flying in with it is another problem, although small amounts will only get you a caution...not worth the risk at immigration/passport control). you'll be able to find someone with some to spare inside the festival
not sure where the law on mushrooms is right now, but again, you should be able top find some inside

In russia we can't bring any liquid to festivals.
I know about laws and don't use drugs. But i'm ineteresting about control on the enter, because in Russia it's very hard. Some times police takes away medical preparations and other neсesary things.

Well done for finding us!! There are lots of people here who can help with your questions. A few of us work on Information Points at the festival or have gone for years so there's lots of knowledge around for you to tap in to.
One of our most dedicated Glasto lovers is Tort who has compiled the most amazingly comprehensive FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) which will answer most of your questions (tho feel free to ask more here 'cos we like new people
Another brilliant member here is paulo999 who has made a Google Earth version of the site map - huge amounts of detail you can zoom in on there!
Find both these incredible resources HERE
Regarding your question about bringing vodka - yes, join lots of other festival-goers in doing exactly that! The only thing you have to remember is that the festival is run on what is, for most of the year, a dairy farm so there is a strict rule of NO glass bottles. So your best Russian vodka will have to go into a plastic bottle for the festival. They check on the gates for this.
Don't worry about whether you'll meet other Russians. You may, but what you'll meet all the time are friendly happy people. You obviously speak good English - you'll make lots of friends! And if you hang around these boards you'll probably have lots of friends before you go

I'm going to take my laptop. Can i charge it there? I know about cellphones. And what about wifi there?
Hmm . . . you are advised not to take valuable items and if you do to keep them in the free lock-ups anytime you don't need them. To be honest there so, so much to do that we all leave wishing we'd been in 10 places at once to catch more of it so you may not actually want to use the laptop much.
Charging may be a problem - I don't know of any areas specifically charging laptop batteries though there may be people in the Green Fields who can do it (with solar or bicycle power). You'd need to carry all the necessary leads and adapters so the can plug into British plugs. But I've never remotely thought of taking a laptop so someone else here may know more. There was at least one area with wifi this year - maybe the Guardian Lounge or Orange Chill and Charge, though may be corrected on that too.
However charging phones isn't a problem (either with Orange or the Green Fields stalls) and the Orange mobile network has booster masts. Some other mobile networks had poor service this year.
Planning it all is fun eh?!
Tell us about Russian Festivals!!

Ok i was on the largest russian rock-festival "Nashestvie" (Invasion) 4 times. Also we have "north nashestvie" - "Vozduh" (the air), big electronic festival "Kazantip" and 6-7 others.
So i can tell u abou "Nashestvie" and my friend will tell u about "Vozduh" (layter %) )
Unfortunately in me it was not preserved photographs from my first trip. That's why i will tel u about 2006, 2008, and 2009.
It's me on third day of festival in 2006

If you have a fairly decent tent, this won't happen! All my friends had small streams through their tents this year however, my tent was nice and dry because I paid more and was a proper tent with inners etc

But if water does flow by streams along the field? You do think awning you it will save?

In the past there have been big problems with water running through the fields and collecting in the lower parts of the festival. But over the past few years they have done a lot of drainage on the farm.
Still its best to have a good tent and if possible to find a place on a slight slope and not at the bottom of a hill!
