MARSHMELLOW FESTIVAL 2007

Organisers are looking to create a mini-Glastonbury by the sea with the inaugural Marshmellow Festival this August bank holiday weekend. The three-day event is to be staged by Birling Gap, near Brighton and it is also following in Glasto's green ethos footsteps by having a recycling team onsite and freshwater toilets.

Organisers are looking to create a mini-Glastonbury by the sea with the inaugural Marshmellow Festival this August bank holiday weekend. The three-day event is to be staged by Birling Gap, near Brighton and it is also following in Glasto's green ethos footsteps by having a recycling team onsite and freshwater toilets.

The event is set to showcase some of the south's best acts as well as bringing a host of great DJs across four stages. There is also the Boudoir Lounge Burlesque and a Cabaret arena as well as an eclectic mixture of art and craft stalls.

A double decker bus service will be running from Brighton every 20 minutes to get the 3000 revellers up to the site. There will also be a designated BBQ area.and camping onsite.less
