About Lovebox 2007
The brainchild of Groove Armada, Lovebox spent its first two years on London's Clapham Common before moving north of the
river for 2005 and expanding into a two day event - to resounding success.
Boasting seven stages, the two-day festival
is predominantly a dance music affair, with house, soul, funk and heritage all part of the staple, however in recent years
it has diversified to include indie and pop bands.
Expect the twisted cabaret of Lost Vagueness to return, as well
as a plethora of diverting side attractions. Organisers are aiming to turn Lovebox into a 'small-scale urban Glastonbury'
but leave your tent at home because there's no camping. There's also no parking so use public transport (nearest tube Mile
End).
Each day runs from about 12pm - 10pm. There's access for wheelchairs. No glass bottles or alcohol.
