LOOPALLU 2008

The annual Loopallu music festival returns to the sleepy fishing village of Ullapool on the shores of Loch Broom in North West Scotland. It may be the most remote festival site in mainland Britain but it still manages to hook some brilliant bands up to its site.

The festival is set against the breathtaking backdrop of the brisk Loch waters that cut the dark Scottish hills, while a host of hand-picked acts entertain the intimate 3,000 gathering.

The festival is set against the breathtaking backdrop of the brisk Loch waters that cut the dark Scottish hills, while a host of hand-picked acts entertain the intimate 3,000 gathering.

Last summer Franz Ferdinand performed at their only festival of the year and previous events have seen the likes of The View, The Undertones and The Bees all performing.

All the acts perform in a large big tent and a wide selection of locally sourced food and drink will be on sale.less
