About Limetree Festival 2009
Back after last year's inaugural event, the Limetree Festival is a mixture of art and music set in the stunning and serene
surroundings of Limetree Farm nature reserve at Grewelthorpe, near Ripon, North Yorkshire.
The festival promises to
draw on the festivals of yesteryear with free camping, no astronomical prices, no economy burgers and no nasty toilets - a
true non-corporate affair.
Musically the festival will be showcasing some of the best local talent with alternative
entertainment from comedy, funfair rides, cabaret, street theatre, late night cinema, art, poetry, politics, literature and
more.
There will also be themed cocktail bars, beer tents, locally sourced food and a healing field.
