Set on the lengthy beaches of France's Languedoc coastline Les Mediterranéenes de Leucate combines sea, sand, sunshine and the best in French and international music.

Sandwiched between the Mediterranean Sea and Leucate's inland lake the festival's stage was graced last year by French legend Charles Aznavour and the mighty Sonic Youth.

An equally eclectic line-up can be expected between 5 - 7 August this year, alongside the opportunity to sample the culinary delights of Southern France.

Spend the day on the beach, tuck into freshly shucked oysters and indulge in a spot of local wine tasting before dancing the warm summer evenings away.

Free shuttles to Leucate train station run throughout the festival, giving you access to the SNCF rail network with national and international links. Flights from European destinations run from Perpignan Airport.
