Sharing a rotating line-up with Reading Festival, the northern leg of the August Bank Holiday weekender is annually blessed
with a mammoth line-up that makes it one of the essential festivals of the calendar for rock fans.
Leeds Festival may
be younger than its Berkshire brother, but it has quickly built its own personality and identity. Rage Against The Machine,
Metallica, The Smashing Pumpkins and The Prodigy have all appeared in the past, so expect more of the same this time around.
A
plethora of established and emerging acts in indie, punk, ska, hip hop, dance and comedy will fill the smaller stages again
at after breaking artists like Arctic Monkeys and Kate Nash in the past.
The event also has fairgrounds, late night
entertainment and a Silent Disco.
